The Steve Hill Trio

Steve Hill (aka Steve Territo) started playing in bands in 1965.  By 1973, blues and blues oriented rock had become his main musical love. He named and co-founded the original J.B. Strut Band in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois in 1973.  After relocating to the Dallas/Ft. Worth. Texas area in 1974, Hill later ended up using the J.B. Strut name in a couple of other bands, one of which, the 1982-1988 version, toured a seven state area, playing extensively throughout Texas and opening for acts such as Johnny Winter, Omar and the Howlers, Little Joe Blue, the Tailgators and others.  After disbanding "Strut" in 1988 due to personnel changes and creative differences within the band, Hill took a seven year sabbatical from music.In 1995, he resumed playing, and the Steve Hill Trio was born.  The trio released several self produced CDs, the most recent entitled "Playing for the Love of Music," which contains 15 of Hill's original tunes.  The CD has received airplay on radio station KNON in Dallas/Ft. Worth, as well as such diverse places as France, Australia, Italy, Canada, Belgium, the Netherlands, Argentina and internet stations throughout the U.S. Hill has been fortunate enough to be able to continue playing his brand of rocking blues with garage band energy and spirit with some of the DFW area's finest players including "Rocking" Ron Thompson, Michael J. Dohoney, Linda Waring, Steve Springer, Jas Stephens, Aram Doroff, Cadillac Johnson and others.
